In my opinion, America is experiencing the judgment of God. If this is true, what must be done? According to Life Action Ministries, six responses to God set the stage for God’s work in powerful ways. These include humility, honesty, repentance, forgiveness, obedience, and seeking God’s kingdom first.

In a recent zoom call with Dr. John Avant of Life Action Ministries, John described these six responses and shared how the ministry teams of Life Action Ministries are willing to help imbed these principles in the culture of local churches here in the Mid-South Baptist Association.

In a follow-up Zoom meeting with Dr. Avant, there was enthusiastic buy-in from pastors that have partnered with Life Action Ministries and from other ministry organizations. In an effort to involve additional churches, I will recommend to our Executive Board on February 22 the following:

We encourage all Mid-South believers and churches to earnestly seek the Lord in 2021 through humility, honesty, repentance, forgiveness, obedience and seeking His kingdom first. That we pursue God in partnership with
other 901 Christians and revival focused ministries such as Life Action Ministries.
