Dear Child of God,

Isn’t it great to be part of the family of God? Lately, I have been reminded of that, and that eternity is a heartbeat away for so many who do not truly know the Lord! Because of this sobering reality, each of us, and all of us collectively as a church, must reach out with the warmth we have as a result of being part of His family.

A prime opportunity for this is National Back to Church Sunday on September 17th. Crucial for so many, a loving church is often the environment where people decide to trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Would you begin to pray and invite, with passion and persistence, those to whom God leads you? Consider September 17th -18th our “Fall Revival Meeting.” Sunday morning will be for reaching out to those not actively attending a Bible-based church.

I am so excited to introduce to you the Jonathan Calheiros family, who will be leading our praise. Sunday night will be a family revival focus as Dr. Ken Hemphill talks about families following Christ. We will also have special music with Dr. Jim Whitmire, along with the Crossroads Baptist Church Choir and Orchestra to lead us in singing to our Lord. Monday evening will be a reservation-only workshop/dinner that helps parents and grandparents focus on leading the next generation to see participation in the kingdom as their primary job. Remember, Jesus is clear about what we are left here on this earth to do! Will you make His priority your priority? Will you join with me, with us, and pray for a move of God as we each one bring one?
