I wanted to drop a note to say, “Keep going”. Ministry doesn’t necessarily get easier, but Ministry is necessary. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is essential to the salvation of the Soul, for without the Sacrifice of Jesus, we would all be lost.  And the worst shape to be in is to be lost and isn’t nobody looking for you. Keep looking for the lost.  If I told you the things I’ve endured to still be on the battlefield, you probably wouldn’t believe me. God is Faithful! A few things I’ve learned along the way, please allow me to share with you and those involved in serving the Lord.

Don’t Wander

 Paul remindes us to “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” – 2 Corinthians 10:5b

• Read – Yourself Full. Allow God to set you on fire and folk will come watch you burn. The Word will work out rough days!
• Rest – from your Labor. You must take at least one day off for yourself
• Recreation- Take a vacation, Come apart before you come apart! “Put your feet in the Sand Man”!

Don’t Worry 

Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. God will sustain you!

Matthew 6:25

My dear friends, God has it all under control. Don’t worry about: 

• Buildings – meet where you can stay away from debt if possible. Space doesn’t dampen or determine the Presence of God. God attends Faithfulness.
• Bodies –  God doesn’t count numbers, He makes numbers count. Folk will come and go, but God will always stay. Where there are 2 or 3.
• Bucks – I once heard it said “God’s will, God’s Bill” He shall supply all your needs according to HIS riches in Glory.

Decide to Wait 

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. God will Take care of You. “ He that should come, Will Come!” (I Know!)

Psalm 27:17
