During the Christmas season, we celebrate the birth of Jesus. His birth is good news that brings joy to all who embrace his coming. Because Christ came, we can celebrate being united in purpose and mission. We can celebrate our promise-keeping God for sending us a Savior. We can celebrate the hope that Jesus represents in bodily form. The birth of Jesus shows God’s love in a very powerful way that is worth celebrating.

May the Lord help us keep Christ at the center of Christmas and cause our hearts to experience a boundless supply of his joy and gratitude for the inexpressible gift of Jesus the Messiah. Merry Christmas from your friends at the Mid-South Baptist Association.
