The Christmas season gives us an opportunity to reflect on Jesus’ conception and birth which
was part of a divine plan to bring us true peace, inner freedom, and joy. God wants people
made in His image to enjoy an intimate relationship with Him and live a life of meaning and
purpose.

Jesus came so that people could be connected to God. The first born that Mary gave birth to
was born to die, paying the penalty for our sin. When Jesus died on the cross, He carried the
penalty for all our sins then rose from the dead to give new life. Let’s make the most of
Christ’s coming into the world to dwell among us and save sinful souls. Let us offer fervent
prayer for ourselves and others that we would be faithful witnesses.

God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
