Director of Operations at Fayette Baptist

Purpose: The Director of Operations provides leadership and oversight to the day to day operations of the church including the campus, activities, and operational ministries.

  • Serves under/communicates with: Administrative Pastor
  • Provides oversight to: Facility Staff and Operational Ministry Leaders
  • Salary: available upon request

General Overview of Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and development to the operational ministries such as security, kitchen, & hospitality with regular meetings and communication
  • Provide leadership & oversight to the facilities & maintenance staff
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations that take place on campus including
    • setup, tear-down, & transitions
    • projects & repairs
    • facility cleaning
    • campus improvements
  • Ensure the campus is up to date and in compliance with all codes and inspections
  • Develop and oversee the Emergency Response Plans for all campus activities
  • Manage the calendar of events, activities, & reservations alongside the Admin Assistant
  • Oversee the operations of the kitchen in regards to menus, inventory, pricing, and organization alongside the Kitchen Manager
  • Work with the People & Projects Team to line up volunteers for all projects, events, and activities
  • Maintain the budgets that are related to the facility and operations
  • Oversee the off-campus properties of the church such as Houses of Hope facilities
  • Ensure Policies & Procedures are followed for ministries alongside the Admin Pastor
  • Assist the staff with effectively and efficiently completing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with the FCS administration on areas related to campus usage and operations
  • Serve as the office manager to be responsible for office supplies and equipment, as well as other services on our campus such as the network and security systems
  • Assist with Benevolence requests and needs as they arise
  • Meet with Pastoral Staff as needed for prayer & planning

Hours: Full-time

  • 4 & 1/2 office days during the week (flexible with weekend/special event needs)
  • Sunday Mornings (7:30 am-12:30 pm)
  • Wednesday Nights (5:30 pm-8:30 pm)
  • Special Events & Activities
