First Baptist Church of Macon, located in Williston, TN, is seeking a senior pastor. We are looking for someone who has a love for God first and a love for people second. Shepherding is important, as is having a firm knowledge of God’s Word. We want someone unafraid to preach truth from Scripture. Although this is designated as a full-time position, the hours would vary from week to week depending on the needs of the congregation. Due to the size of the church, the pastor would most likely have time to pursue secondary employment if desired, making it more of a bi-vocational position. The church is a loving congregation that has maintained stable attendance throughout Covid and the sudden death of its pastor. The church is also debt-free with a growing building fund and a vision to build a new sanctuary.
