Marie Burriss
My name is Marie Burriss and I am excited to be a part of the Mid-South Baptist Association. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN, attended Bellevue Baptist church growing up, and graduated from Overton High School in 1991. I am married to a wonderful man, Tom Burriss and have 2 awesome kids, Hunter (25 years old, married to Taylor) and Chelsea (18 years old). This past year we became grandparents of a beautiful granddaughter, Laney. I was saved as a teen, but it wasn’t until I was an adult that I truly understood His love for me. I came to that completeness with Christ in 2007 after attending a FaithWalk weekend. Since then, God has opened many opportunities for my husband and me. We have served in several church plants, addiction recovery ministry, and many other ministries within the church. Currently, we minister at Grace Baptist Church in Braden, TN where my husband is the pastor.
Xayasack “Say” Saysombath
Say is a video content producer for Mid-South Baptist Association.
He served six years with the WMU and nineteen years with International Mission Board as Media Specialist/Video producer. He has produced many evangelistic messages that are culturally appropriate and relevant to unreached people groups in South East Asia and beyond.
His passion and calling is to tell God’s story through video, leveraging and harness the wave of social media to glorify His name.
