Pray and do not worry
When a country faces problems, it is more beneficial to pray than worry. Worry can cause a person not to trust God. Scripture reminds us to: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. See below for opportunities to pray with other believers for our country.
You are invited to participate in a time of prayer for our country as America celebrates 249 years. The pastors of the following churches will host the one-hour prayer sessions starting at 3:00 PM. Please bring your prayer warriors to each of these prayer gatherings as we pray for the United States of America.
