MISSION STATEMENT: Whitehaven Baptist Church, Memphis, TN. is a family of Christian believers who welcome others to join us in worship and service to God. Our focus is to love and encourage others to join us in learning and understanding the Bible as we seek to follow the example of Jesus in our Christian walk.

About the pastor:

Rev. Terry Coleman has been welcomed as the new Interim Pastor for Whitehaven Baptist Church. He also currently holds the position of Senior Staff Chaplain at Baptist Desoto Hospital where he has been since 2018. Bro. Terry has been preaching the gospel since he was 16 years old, spanning 11 states, 3 foreign countries, as well as leading multi-service and staff ministries over the course of his service. Surrender to Christ at a young age has opened the door for many opportunities, which have included serving as an Assistant Pastor, Pastor, Intentional Interim Minister, and Hospital Chaplain. He and his wife, Lea Ann, have three adult children, and five grandchildren.
